Halloween (All hallow’s eve)  has not really reached Paris yet, as far as decorations go, but there were many parties going on all around the country this week end. We tend to visit cemeteries and cover our tombs with chrysanteums. I can’t resist sending you some of the pictures  I received from the States.

I would have loved to be in Salem, Ma, with the million visitors remembering the poor martyr witches, but here is what is going on in Santa Barbara, Ann Arbor and New York, and I wish you a happy celebration!

  1. Some nice Halloween items here!

The best thing I saw was a man running up my block wearing an enormous foam rubber Tyrannosaurus rex costume. It completely enveloped him and reached up above his head by about 1 meter. The dinosaur’s head flopped about when he ran, very funny.
