A black chocolate Easter egg at Pierre Marcolini

I love the Easter tradition when you give each other chocolate eggs or hens. When I was little I remember my grandfather giving me an animated chick who walked around carrying a basket full of very small fishes in chocolate and eggs in sugar. We call it friture in French, like fried fish…

A little Easter chick came to visit in the country

So make sure to hide a few rabbits in the garden for your children or buy some lovely eggs decorated with hearts like the ones I found at Pierre Marcolini on rue de Seine. They will put you in a cheerful mood for the week end!

At Jadis et Gourmande fish is flying

Pierre Marcolini is 235 rue St Honoré,  3 rue Scribe and 89 rue de Seine (from 21€ to 89€). You can also find delicious chocolates at Jadis et Gourmande from 16€ onwards.
