The summon came from Liz Tirrell and Woo Caroland in Dallas: I had to attend the launch party of Sabah ephemeral boutique on the Palais Royal. So I rushed of course, and was happily surprised to meet charming Mickey Ashmore the creator of Sabah shoes.
They are hand stitched in Turkey and look like leather sophisticated espadrilles. Tequila was flowing in the beautiful galerie Montpensier not far from the Comédie Française and the multicolor shoes are very attractive and confortable.
You’ll be the only ones wearing them on the beach in France this summer because they sell (for 170€) mostly in Texas, New York and L.A. The shop is open till June 24 th! but you can also order on line… (11-12 galerie Montpensier, Jardins du Palais Royal)
